WYOTECH NAMED OFFICIAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL OF NHRA

GLENDORA, CA 7/21/06  Officials of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and WyoTech, a division of Titan Schools, Inc. (TSi), today jointly announced that WyoTech has been named the “Official Technical School” of NHRA.

In making the announcement TSi president/COO Timothy Schutz said, “We are very pleased to be named the Official Technical School of NHRA.  We see a direct link between the NHRA fan base and our national WyoTech student population and believe NHRA will play a prominent role in our continued growth as the cutting edge, premier technical training schools.

“The demand for highly skilled, dedicated technicians with specialization in automotive technology (including BMW Step), auto body, diesel, aviation, HVAC, chassis fabrication, high performance engines and motorcycles is increasing, and we believe that WyoTech and NHRA are an ideal team for spreading the word about the courses we offer.

“We’ve already begun to experience the kind of exposure that can be generated through NHRA drag racing through our involvement with Pro Stock Motorcycle standout Steve Johnson and Snap-on Tools.  Steve, born and raised in California has already hosted WyoTech students, teachers and administrators at some of the POWERade Series events, most recently this past weekend at the Mile-High Nationals in Denver, and we’re eagerly looking forward to more of those outings,” Schutz said.  “Both on the track and back in the pits, Steve is helping get the WyoTech message to our core audience of potential students, and this direct involvement with NHRA is only going to enhance that effort.”

Speaking on behalf of the NHRA, senior vice president of sales and marketing Gary Darcy agreed with Mr. Schutz’s assessment of the need for highly skilled technicians.  “The demand for qualified automotive technicians with finely honed skills in a variety of fields is at an all-time high right now, and that demand is going to increase in the future.  We’re extremely pleased that WyoTech has elected to become the Official Technical School of NHRA for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that the NHRA fan is a great fit with the WyoTech target audience.  We’re eager to build a successful and long-running business relationship with WyoTech, and with that in mind we’ll shortly begin discussing various marketing opportunities with their senior executive staff.”

TSi operates seven WyoTech campuses nationwide under the Corinthian Colleges, Inc. banner, with locations in Daytona, FL, Sacramento, Oakland and Fremont, CA, Laramie, WY, Blairsville, PA and Boston, MA.
